Caregiver

About the Role:
Primary Providers Homecare is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in Shippensburg, PA. In this rewarding role, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients by providing personalized, in-home care and support. Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and tidying living spaces
• Assist with medication reminders and monitor client health and well-being
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community activities
• Document and report any changes in client condition to supervisors promptly

Requirements:

• Previous caregiving, home health aide (HHA), or personal care aide (PCA) experience preferred
• Genuine compassion, patience, and a client-centered approach to care
• Ability to pass a background check and meet state compliance requirements
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
