Role Description The Caregiver is a full-time, on-site role based in Sudbury, MA, providing direct support to senior clients in their homes or residential settings. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, as well as supporting safe transfers and encouraging independence. The Caregiver helps with light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, and errands to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. The role involves providing companionship, engaging clients in conversation and activities, and monitoring changes in physical or emotional condition while promptly reporting concerns to supervisors or family members. The Caregiver is expected to follow care plans, maintain accurate documentation, respect confidentiality, and adhere to all company policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide compassionate hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).

• Experience with safe client transfers, basic fall prevention, and maintaining a clean, organized living environment (light housekeeping and laundry).

• Skills in meal planning and preparation, including following dietary guidelines and supporting adequate nutrition and hydration.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to offer companionship, build trust with clients and families, and report changes in condition clearly.

• Reliability in following care plans, documenting services provided, and respecting client privacy and confidentiality.

• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and respond calmly in routine and urgent situations.

• Previous caregiving, home care, or senior care experience is highly preferred; experience with dementia or Alzheimer’s care is a plus.

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant caregiver, CNA, or home health aide training or certification is beneficial.

• Willingness to undergo background checks, reference checks, and any required health screenings or vaccinations.
