About the Role:
Join Qualicare Home Care Central NJ as a Caregiver with CHHA certification and make a difference in the lives of our clients. We are seeking compassionate individuals who are dedicated to providing exceptional personal care and support in a warm and inviting environment.



Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Help clients take medications as directed and report any health concerns to the care team.
• Assist with walking, transfers, and mobility to ensure client safety.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities that support emotional well-being.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for the client.
• Document care provided and communicate updates professionally with supervisors and family members when required.
• Build respectful and supportive relationships with clients and their families.

Requirements:

• Active CHHA certification required.
• Previous caregiving or personal care experience is preferred.
• Compassionate, reliable, and professional attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to safely assist clients with mobility and daily care tasks.
• Reliable transportation and flexible availability.
• Must pass background screening and provide professional references.
• Experience working with elderly clients, dementia, Alzheimer’s, hospice, or mobility assistance is a plus.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
