Caregivers for Jeannette & Latrobe

Senior Helpers is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to support two male clients in the Jeannette and Latrobe areas. As a CHAP-certified home care provider recognized for Age-Friendly Care and Senior Gems® dementia care training, we are committed to delivering exceptional care while providing our caregivers with the support and resources they need to thrive.

We currently have two rewarding opportunities available. One client in Jeannette requires care Friday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and would benefit from an attentive caregiver with dementia care experience. The second client in Latrobe needs care Monday through Saturday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, helping him remain comfortable at home through companionship, homemaking assistance, meal preparation, and personal care support as needed.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old (Required)

• Must be a driver with a reliable vehicle

• Ability to transport clients to appointments, errands, and outings

• Valid driver's license and auto insurance

• Negative results of either a 2-Step TB Test or TB Quantiferon Gold Blood Test (Required)

Responsibilities:

• Provide companion care (light housekeeping, meal prep, mobility assistance, social engagement)

• Deliver personal care, including toileting, bathing, grooming, and incontinence care

• Support clients with dignity, comfort, and independence

• Follow care plans and communicate effectively with office staff

Qualifications:

• Active CNA, HHA, or PCA certification (or equivalent experience)

• At least 3-6 months of professional or personal experience in home care, caregiving, or related field (Required)

• Reliable, patient, and professional
