CNA/GNA/Home Care Aide — Non-Benefit Eligible Part-Time Position

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:45 PM–6:15 PM
Hours: 12.5 hours per week
Days: Monday–Friday
Weekends: Not required

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable CNA/GNA/Home Care Aide to provide one-on-one support in a private home setting. The aide will assist with personal care, activities of daily living, mobility, positioning, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.

General Weekly Schedule

Monday–Friday:
Approximately 2.5 hours per day during the afternoon/evening. Duties include after-school support, personal care, evening ADLs, meal preparation, and bedtime preparation.

Saturday & Sunday:
No formal support required

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living
• Provide safe transfer, mobility, and positioning assistance
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and incontinence care
• Prepare meals as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
• Complete laundry and linen care
• Monitor and report changes in condition to nursing staff
• Document care provided and positioning as required
• Follow infection-control, safety, and confidentiality requirements

Important: This position involves hands-on care for an individual with significant assistance needs. Proper positioning and regular repositioning are required to promote comfort and help prevent pressure injuries.

Qualifications

• Valid Maryland CNA or GNA certification
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Caregiving or healthcare experience preferred
• Reliable, compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care
• Ability to follow care instructions and work collaboratively with nursing staff
