Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cargo Component Technician to join a growing aerospace team in the North Tulsa area. This role is responsible for repairing, testing, and maintaining critical aircraft cargo system components in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The ideal Cargo Component Technician has mechanical troubleshooting experience, strong technical aptitude, and a desire to build a long-term career in the aerospace industry.
Required Experience & Skills
Minimum of 2 years of aviation-related technical experience or equivalent education preferred
Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work instructions
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable working in a manufacturing or aerospace repair environment
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification is a plus but not required
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Repair and test aircraft cargo components including PDUs, latches, locks, lateral guides, and ball mats
Use hand tools and power tools to complete repairs and component testing
Read and interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, schematics, and repair instructions
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform corrective repairs
Document repair activities and communicate shift handoffs effectively
Maintain compliance with aerospace quality and safety standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
Collaborate with team members to support production schedules and customer requirements
Preferred Education
Technical training in aviation maintenance, aviation systems, mechanical technology, or a related discipline preferred
FAA A&P certification is a plus
Work Environment
