As an Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), youll provde compassionate, high-quality primary and same-day care to patients of all ages. In this highly collaborative fast-paced role you will assess, manage and  treat patients at our Hampstead Clinic in North Wilmington, NC.  Hours are 800a-500p, Three days per week.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides appropriate and timely primary care to patients of all ages.
  • Conducts comprehensive evaluations, including symptom assessment, and timely documents in the EMR.
  • Develops and implements individualized treatment plans. 
  • Educates patients regarding disease processes, medication management, lifestyle modification, nutrition, and self-management techniques.
  • Orders, reviews, and interprets laboratory testing and diagnostic studies  
  • Coordinates care with dietitians, diabetes educators, primary care providers, and other specialists to support comprehensive endocrine care.
  • Assists with answering patient/provider questions and  walk-in, same-day plus follow-up visits.
  • Collaborates with fellow primary care and specialty providers, as needed.
  • Supports quality initiatives related to primary care.

 Candidate Qualifications

  •  Current NP or PA certification and active North Carolina license (or eligibility) 
  •  6 months plus experience working as an independent provider
  •  Strong clinical assessment skills and commitment to patient-centered care
  •  Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
  •  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative & flexible environment
