Carpenter Apprentice (Residential Remodeling) 


Location: Based in Spring House, PA, with projects throughout the surrounding area.

True North Construction is looking for a Carpenter Apprentice with some hands-on construction experience who is ready to continue learning and growing in the residential remodeling trade. This is not an entry-level role for someone brand new to construction; the ideal candidate will already have basic carpentry skills and job site experience. This person will support the field team with production work, assist superintendents and carpenters, and help complete high-quality residential remodeling projects.


Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with residential remodeling and carpentry tasks
  • Support framing, trim, demolition, installation, punch list, and general production work
  • Help keep job sites clean, organized, and safe
  • Follow the direction from the superintendent, lead carpenter, or project manager
  • Load, unload, move, and organize materials and tools
  • Learn proper construction methods, sequencing, and quality standards
  • Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors
  • Help complete work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
  • Represent the company professionally on residential job sites

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of construction, carpentry, or remodeling experience preferred
  • Basic carpentry skills required
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Good communication skills
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Reliable transportation to travel between local job sites. 
  • Ability to work on active residential remodeling job sites
  • Must be dependable, professional, and team-oriented
  • Basic hand tools preferred; major tools and equipment provided. 
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in active residential construction environments. 

Pay and benefits:

  • Full-time, W-2 employee position
  • Pay: $23-$25 per hour, based on experience
