$18/hr+ DOE

Schedule:
Monday -Friday 8am-5pm
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare wood surfaces by sanding, filling, and cleaning prior to finishing
- Apply stains, paints, sealers, lacquers, and topcoats using spray equipment or hand techniques
- Match custom colors and finishes according to samples and specifications
- Inspect finished products for defects, consistency, and quality standards
- Sand between coats and perform touch-ups as needed
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must have their own power tools
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years' experience in wood finishing, cabinetry finishing, or related field
- Experience with spray equipment (HVLP, air-assisted, or conventional systems)
- Knowledge of stains, paints, sealers, and topcoat systems
- Strong color-matching ability
- Attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
Preferred:
- Experience in custom cabinetry or high-end residential work
- Knowledge of water-based and solvent-based finishing systems
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards
- Ability to read shop drawings and finish schedules
