Job Summary
- Cut, shape, and install building materials during construction, remodeling, or repair in residential and light commercial settings
- Work with fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard
- Accurately determine and identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects
- Evaluate customer requests, troubleshoot issues, and problem-solve to find solutions
- Provide basic construction skills for residents and businesses in the Twin Cities
- Bid work and produce it with great satisfaction
- Effectively communicate with clients and office support
- Complete a variety of repairs and replacements to windows, doors, siding, finish trim, flooring, framing, decking, and more
Job Requirements
- Competency in general building trades
- Must carry liability insurance
- Ability to complete projects from start to finish independently
- Must have current driver's license
- Must have tools, work vehicle, and good references
- Must pass screening process which includes a background check
- Must have a smart phone and access to the internet
