Job Description Job Description Dallas Market Center is seeking a Carpenter to join our team! You will maintain all facilities to ensure an operable and safe complex and service all exhibitors and buyers in a friendly and professional manner. Must be flexible in work schedule to allow for markets, special events and emergencies that require occasional overtime and weekends as needed.Position Description:Maintains DMC complex; builds drywall, cabinets, counter tops, etc.;Patches and repairs brick or cinder block as necessaryEffectively repairs and/or installs suspended ceilingsReplaces glass fronts of showrooms accuratelyMaintains clean and orderly work areas; minimizes disruption to operationsWorks safely while meeting the physical demands of the positionAdheres to OSHA regulated policies and proceduresOther related duties as assignedMust have valid, active Driver License with no restrictionsRequired Education:High School Diploma or equivalentRequired Experience:5 years of carpentry experienceBuild and install laminate counter topsPhysical Requirements:Lift up to 70 lbs; will lift/carry 40lbs on a frequent basisExtensive walking and standingWork outside in the elements up to 25% of the timeCompany Description Dallas Market Center is a global business-to-business trade center and the leading wholesale marketplace in North America connecting retailers and interior designers with top manufacturers in home decor, furniture, gifts, lighting and fashion.
