The Massachusetts Veterans Home at Chelsea is seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter I to join our Facilities Management team. In this role, you will perform skilled carpentry work, preventative maintenance, repairs, and renovations to help maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our veteran residents.

Minimum Entrance Requirements:
Applicants must have at least (A) two years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, experience in carpentry, woodworking or cabinet-making work, or (B) any equivalent combination of the required experience and the substitutions below.
Substitutions:
I. A diploma or certificate from a recognized trade, technical or vocational school, at high school level or higher, with a major in carpentry, woodworking or cabinetmaking may be substituted for the required experience.
Special Requirements: None.
