Installing walls, carpet floors, drop ceilings, and roof repairs using materials such as wood, steel, metal, concrete, plastics, and composites of multiple materials.
Repair window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, sheet rock infill, interior and exterior trim to code using the proper tools and Techniques. Be able to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods. Be able to carry and climb ladders as needed. Kneel and hold the position for long periods for working under sinks.
Erecting scaffolding, ladders for assembling structures above ground levels.
Shaping or cutting materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
Following established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Building or repairing cabinets, doors or other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, hand tools, or power tools.
Assembling and fastening materials to make frameworks using hand tools and wood screws, nails, or glue.
Removing damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using hand tools.
Inspecting ceiling or floor tile, wall coverings, glass, or woodwork to detect broken or damaged structures.
Drive company vehicle from office to job sites, construction supply houses, and run miscellaneous errands as needed to support the operation.
Work closely and coordinate with Building/Facilities Engineers, Electricians, Elevator Contractors, Mechanical Contractors, Fire Service Contractors, and Sprinkler Fitters in elevator machinery spaces, elevator hoist ways,
REQUIREMENTS
1-3 years of experience in commercial carpentry
Must have own trade tools.
Ability to comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints, sketches, building plans and other specifications required by our clients for information pertaining to the type of material required to get job done.
Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation.
High standard of integrity, professionalism and appearance working in a Corporate Environment.
Must have valid Driver's License and be able to pass a Drug test.
