Job Overview:
The Carpenter Lead is responsible for management and production of construction projects within the specified timelines. Develops and maintains a positive professional relationship with internal and external customers. Provides leadership and educates all on-site production carpenters and laborers. Responsible for a well-organized project that has the highest quality standards and above all promotes a safe and clean work environment at all times.
Your Responsibilities:

Maintain a Safe Jobsite
• Maintain and enforce the OSHA Safety Compliance Program with all employees and subcontractors
• Maintain all safety related items such as First Aid Kit, and all related forms
• Submit safety incident reports for each unsafe violation observed. This report must be submitted no later than 24 hoursafter any incident.
Customer Experience
• Conduct a weekly meeting with client, Project Manager and Salesperson for review of job progress
• Communicate with Project Manager regarding any major changes in your clients
• Make sure that projects are broom cleaned at the end of each day and thoroughly on Fridays
• Help clients any way possible through the ups and downs of the remodeling experience
Supervision
• Supervise all employees and subcontractors in activities so they will be productive at job sites
• Manage and monitor expenditures to stay within project budgets
• Protect the client’s property from theft, damage or weather-related loss
• Supervise all related paperwork as needed and all on-site organization
• Create a positive, productive teamwork environment
• Work closely with Project Manager on all, or any changes on a daily basis
• Oversee the use of machinery and equipment
Management

Carpentry
• Capable of reading and understanding construction blueprints and specifications
• Competent in all phases of residential construction
• Keep vehicle well maintained and fully stocked and organized with tools and supplies to do any job from demolition to

• Performs all advanced carpentry duties
• Capable of doing takeoffs
• Responsible for all quality and efficiency
• Capable of training/teaching upcoming field staff
• Some rotational emergency on-call required

• Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage Carpenters, Laborers, and Subcontractors
• Assign, monitor, and manage tasks and responsibilities on a regular basis. Provide coaching and disciplinary actions, as necessary.
Skills & Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 7+ years of proven experience as a lead carpenter
• 5+ years of residential building experience
• Understanding of property services industry preferred
• 7+ years of supervisory experience (preferred)
• Ability to pass skills assessment

Compensation: $37.50 - $42.50 an hour
