Summary:
The Carpenter is to assist and support the job classification of Carpenter through Superintendent as directed by performing the following duties:

Equipment and Power Tools:
See attached tool requirement list.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) acceptable or equivalent construction experience. Must be familiar with blue prints and read and understand written and verbal instructions.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports
and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems that may arise during the sequence of construction.
Authority:
The Carpenter has the responsibility and authority to accomplish the specific duties shown under Scope of the Job. Without the express permission of the Chief Operating Officer or Project Manager, the Finish Carpenter may not contract for any services for the Company or divulge any information of a confidential nature to the Company or of any employee of the Company.

Powder activated tool certificate.

Hours:
Must work a minimum of 40 hours per week and job hours that may vary depending upon other established duties and responsibilities and any additional time as required to meet goals and objectives.
