PRST is seeking experienced Journeyman Carpenters to join premier custom home projects throughout Palo Alto and the Peninsula. This is an opportunity for skilled carpenters who want to work on high-end residential builds where craftsmanship, precision, and attention to detail matter.
You’ll work alongside experienced builders and tradespeople on luxury custom homes, major remodels, and architecturally detailed residential projects. Work may include everything from structural framing and complex layouts to high-end finish carpentry, doors and windows, custom trim, siding, decking, and detailed architectural features.
We’re looking for well-rounded carpenters who can take a set of plans, understand the scope, and confidently execute quality work with minimal supervision. Candidates should be comfortable working in occupied or highly finished environments and understand the level of professionalism expected when working with custom builders, architects, designers, and homeowners.
Pay: $45–$50/hr DOE

- 5+ years of custom residential carpentry experience
- Strong framing and finish carpentry skills
- Experience with detailed trim, doors, windows, cabinetry, and architectural woodwork
- Ability to read plans and execute detailed layouts
- Professional, reliable, and quality-focused
- Own basic hand tools and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing crew
