Key Responsibilities


  •  Perform advanced carpentry work, including framing, blocking, drywall backing, trim, doors, hardware, millwork, cabinetry, and finish installations 
  •  Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and field dimensions 
  •  Lead carpenters and laborers on site to ensure productivity, quality, and proper workflow 
  •  Coordinate daily tasks with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors 
  •  Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, metal framing, and other construction materials 
  •  Install doors, frames, hardware, partitions, casework, trim, wall protection, and specialty finishes 
  •  Identify and resolve field issues, layout conflicts, and installation challenges 
  •  Ensure all work meets company quality standards, project specifications, and code requirements 
  •  Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite 
  •  Enforce safety procedures and proper tool/equipment usage 
  •  Train and mentor junior carpenters and apprentices 
  •  Track materials, tools, and site needs; communicate shortages or issues proactively 
  •  Complete punch list items and final finish work with attention to detail 
Qualifications


  •  7+ years of carpentry experience in commercial and/or residential construction 
  •  Advanced knowledge of framing, finish carpentry, millwork, and general construction practices 
  •  Ability to read blueprints and perform field layout independently 
  •  Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment 
  •  Proven leadership experience managing field crews 
  •  Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field 
  •  Strong understanding of jobsite safety and OSHA practices 
  •  Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license 
  •  Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders, and perform physical jobsite tasks daily 
Preferred Qualifications


  •  Experience in commercial interior fit-outs and renovations 
  •  Experience leading crews on occupied and active jobsites 
  •  OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification 
  •  Ability to manage small projects independently 
  •  Experience with punch work, finish detail, and client-facing project closeout
