Job Summary 
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Experienced Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in residential and/or light commercial carpentry, the ability to read and follow blueprints, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. This role involves constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood, metal, and various other materials while adhering to local building codes and safety standards

Responsibilities
  • Cut, shape, and assemble structures, forms, or fixtures using wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall, and other materials.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete assigned building and installation tasks.
  • Join materials using nails, screws, staples, adhesives, and other fasteners appropriate to each project.
  • Verify accuracy and structural integrity using levels, framing squares, surveying equipment, and other measuring tools; make adjustments as necessary.
  • Read, understand, and follow blueprints, drawings, specifications, and layout plans.
  • Install kitchen cabinets, including layout, leveling, anchoring, and finishing.
  • Perform finish carpentry, including doors, windows, casing, baseboard, crown molding, and other trim work.
  • Perform light deck framing, decking installation, and railing assembly.
  • Frame basements using both wood and metal studs.
  • Install windows, doors, and associated hardware with precision.
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and temporary structures safely and correctly.
  • Measure, calculate, and estimate material quantities needed for projects on need be basis.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Adhere to all local building codes, industry standards, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Carpenter (5+ years)
  • Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurements
  • Ability to read and take action on blueprints
  • Ability to safely operate hand and power carpentry tools
  • Knowledge of building regulations and codes
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
