Carpenter/Skilled Laborer
Starting Pay Rate: $23- $24/hr, paid weekly DOE
Location: Mead, NE
Position Summary:
This role focuses on the construction, repair, and refurbishment of modular units, following company procedures and specifications set by the Operations Manager. Candidates should bring entry-level to intermediate carpentry skills and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform framing, light carpentry, and general construction tasks
- Remove and replace walls, flooring, windows, and doors
- Replace and install floor tile, siding, and other building components
- Paint interior and exterior surfaces per company specs
- Conduct light electrical and plumbing work
- Clean and prep units, including floors and wax finishes
- Perform minor repairs on-site at customer locations
- Interface professionally with customers when needed
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace
- Assist with other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:- Entry-level to intermediate construction or framing experience
- Light carpentry and electrical knowledge required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented
- Ability to work in environments with dust, dirt, and loud noise
- Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
