    Job Description

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a dependable and motivated Commercial Carpenter with experience in rough carpentry, commercial job sites, and equipment operation. This role will support a variety of commercial construction projects and requires someone who can work hands-on in the field while also helping mentor and guide younger crew members.

    The ideal candidate is safety-focused, hardworking, mechanically capable, and able to adapt to changing job site needs.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform commercial rough carpentry and framing work
    • Read and follow construction plans, layouts, and measurements
    • Operate small construction equipment and machinery safely
    • Assist with general labor and job site support as needed
    • Load, unload, and organize materials and tools
    • Maintain clean and safe work areas
    • Follow OSHA and company safety standards always
    • Help train and mentor less experienced crew members
    • Work alongside project managers and field supervisors to complete projects efficiently

    Preferred Skills

    • Commercial framing experience
    • Blueprint reading
    • Concrete form work
    • Job site leadership experience
    • Experience working on industrial or commercial projects

    Requirements

    Qualifications
    • 2+ years of commercial carpentry or construction experience preferred
    • OSHA 10 Certification required
    • Experience operating equipment such as:
    • Skid steers​
    • Telehandlers
    • Scissor lifts
    • Forklifts
    • Other small construction machinery
    • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in outdoor conditions
    • Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Valid driver’s license preferred
    • Leadership mentality and willingness to teach younger workers
