We are looking for the Journeyman and Apprentice level Carpenters to work a short-term prevailing wage project in Bakersfield, CA

Hourly Pay rate: $70 - $92 (range)

Journeyman Level:

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Certification: Completion of a formal 3- to 4-year carpentry apprenticeship program or an official Certificate of Qualification.

  • Experience: 3+ years of post-apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on carpentry experience.

  • Physical & Environmental: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks—such as lifting, bending, and climbing.

  • Tool Proficiency: Strong, working knowledge of both basic hand tools and pneumatic/power tools (e.g., skill saws, table saws, nail guns)

 

Apprentice Level:

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is typically required.

  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive, physically demanding tasks.

  • Aptitude: Basic math and spatial reasoning skills are essential for measuring and calculating dimensions.

  • Work Ethic: Reliability, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn.
