Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Carpenters of all skill levels for projects located in or around Virginia Beach, VA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $32/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope - Helper/Apprentice

• Build wooden crates and containers from lumber according to blueprints, drawings, and job orders
• Safely operate hand and power tools, including saws, nail guns, drills, hammers, and related equipment
• Measure, cut, assemble, and fasten crate components to create durable shipping containers
• Assist skilled carpenters with fabrication and construction tasks
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Job Scope - Journeyman Carpenter

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building specifications
• Measure, cut, shape, and join wood, steel, and other construction materials
• Build rough frameworks, walls, floors, doorframes, and concrete forms
• Perform finish carpentry including the installation of doors, windows, molding, hardware, and cabinetry
• Utilize hand and power tools to complete projects accurately and efficiently
• Maintain quality workmanship while adhering to all jobsite safety standards

Requirements

• Previous carpentry, construction, woodworking, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings preferred
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and dependable
