What Youll Do
As a Rough Carpenter for framing and siding, you will be responsible for:
Read and interpret complex construction blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine exact specifications
Accurately measure, cut, and shape framing lumber and other materials using both hand and power tools. Construct and assemble floor beams, subflooring, wall partitions, and roof trusses.
Removing old or damaged siding and installing moisture barriers (house wrap/tar paper)
Installing, leveling, and securing siding panels, soffit, fascia, and trim using power tools and fasteners
Sealing joints, gaps, and edges with caulking or flashing to prevent air and water infiltration
Maintaining a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures
Collaborating effectively with team members to ensure project timelines are met and quality standards are upheld
What Youll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
2 to 5+ years in residential or commercial exterior remodeling/construction
Proficiency with common construction tools and equipment
A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stay active throughout the workday, and work comfortably outdoors and indoors
Prior experience in general construction is preferred
