Carpentry Helper $20-$22 DOE

Position Overview
Our client, a fabrication/manufacturing company in the Conroe area, is seeking a reliable Carpentry Helper for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for someone with basic carpentry experience who is comfortable working in a shop environment and ready to grow into a permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Accurately measure, cut, and assemble wood and crates according to specifications
• Operate saws, drills, nail guns, and other basic hand and power tools
• Read a tape measure accurately for precise measurements
• Perform general carpentry and fabrication tasks as assigned
• Follow safety protocols and shop procedures at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Basic carpentry skills and experience
• Comfortable operating saws, drills, nail guns, and hand tools
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to work in a fabrication shop setting
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. on a regular basis
• Strong reliability and attendance record
• Safety-minded with the ability to follow instructions closely
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
