Purpose:
The Carpentry Technician will support the housing development team by performing skilled carpentry work and with achieving short- and long-term goals for residential construction and renovation projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise on projects prior to purchase by attending showings.
- Assist with the creation of the scope of work to be performed for each project.
- Attend building inspections.
- Maintain safety and compliance.
- Manage tools and materials.
- Collaborate with other trades.
- Provide training and shadowing opportunities.
Requirements:
- 1 - 3 years' experience in residential carpentry, specifically with framing, drywall, insulation, finishings).
- Understand architect drawing.
- Know OSHA requirements, Lead-Safe, City Codes.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.

This is an Exempt position with a salary range of $53,000.00 - $57,000.00
