Carpet Cleaning Specialist

NSG, Inc. is currently hiring for an experienced Carpet Cleaning Specialist for a large commercial office facility located in Downtown Cincinnati. We believe that a clean, well-maintained space isn't just about appearances-it's about creating healthier, more welcoming environments where people can thrive. Details & Compensation: 

• Monday through Friday from 5:30p-11:30p (30 Hours Per Week)
• $16.50 per hour (with weekly pay every Friday)
• Benefits are available after 90-days of employment
• 401K eligibility after 1-year of service

The Impact You'll Make

As our Carpet Cleaning & Janitorial Specialist, you'll be the person who turns "worn and tired" into "fresh and inviting." Your work will directly improve the comfort, safety, and overall experience of everyone who steps into our facilities. From deep-cleaning carpets to maintaining spotless common areas, you'll be a key player in keeping our spaces looking their best and feeling their cleanest.

What You'll Do

• Operate professional carpet cleaning equipment (hot water extraction, steam cleaning, and spot treatment systems) to restore carpets and rugs.
• Treat and remove stains using appropriate cleaning solutions and techniques.
• Maintain and clean upholstered furniture as needed.
• Inspect work areas to ensure quality standards are met and report any maintenance issues.
• Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals in compliance with safety guidelines.

Secondary Duties:

• Perform routine janitorial duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in assigned areas.
• Assist with floor care, including stripping, waxing, and buffing hard surfaces when required.

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience in carpet cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services preferred (training provided for the right candidate).

• Familiarity with carpet cleaning machines and janitorial tools.

• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality results.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move equipment for extended periods.

• Commitment to safety and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain a running log to document areas of carpets cleaned with corresponding service dates.
