Carrier Compliance Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

Carrier Compliance & Risk Management

• Manage end-to-end carrier onboarding and ongoing compliance within the TMS and third-party risk management platforms, including Highway.
• Review carrier profiles, documentation, and risk indicators to determine compliance eligibility.
• Perform continuous risk analysis of the carrier base with emphasis on fraud prevention and cargo theft mitigation.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation aligned with FMCSA regulations, insurance requirements, and internal policies.

Operational Support & Communication

• Communicate carrier status, approvals, and compliance issues to internal teams.
• Perform follow-ups with carriers and third parties to obtain required documentation and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide guidance related to carrier clearance processes and system navigation.

Quality Assurance & Process Improvement

• Conduct quality assurance reviews, contract audits, and compliance validations.
• Develop and maintain SOPs related to carrier compliance and onboarding.
• Monitor and maintain carrier scorecards.

Issue Resolution and Escalation

• Identify, investigate, and escalate non-compliance issues and discrepancies.
• Document findings and recommendations regarding carrier relationships.

Qualifications & Skillsets

• Experience in transportation, logistics, compliance, or risk management preferred
• Working knowledge of FMCSA regulations and carrier compliance standards
• Familiarity with Highway or similar risk platforms preferred
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
