Qualified candidates should possess.
- 5 years of experience in transportation / distribution environment
- 3 to 5 years of experience supervising or managing a team of employees preferred
- Transportation Management System experience preferred
- International transportation / customs experience preferred
- Develop and analyze metrics to support the business plan as outlined by the Sr. Logistics Manager
- Build and maintain an effective team – Interviewing, training, mentoring and accountability
- Identify, develop, and implement Carrier Freight Operations best practices throughout all EPM Divisions / Modes of transportation
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing including presentation abilities
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze problems and formulate alternative/creative solutions to problems
- Adept in multi-tasking, prioritizing, and managing time effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; can effectively listen and give details accurately
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, including but not limited to hazardous shipments and freight classifications
- Exceptional interpersonal skills: a team player with proven ability to work across functional areas and all levels of the organization
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Open to coaching with the ability to apply feedback
- Ability to lead and coordinate multiple priority projects concurrently
- Must not have any active code of conduct violations
- Must have acceptable attendance (as per Transfer policy guidelines)

Education
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in logistics preferred
- Equivalent level of work experience will be considered
- Must have High School diploma /GED or Above
