$52,000 - $66,000 a year

Job Description:

This is a Full Time Carrier Manager/Dispatcher position located right off the Medical Lake exit near the Petro. Easy access right off the freeway, minutes from Downtown Spokane.

The Carrier Dispatcher is responsible for moving loads on outside carriers in a profitable, professional and safety-oriented manner

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Meets or exceeds Logistics performance goals and on time service standards (Revenue, Margin and Margin%)
• Acts as liaison between carriers, CSR and other personnel as needed keeping all informed of issues that may impact customer expectations and/or carrier needs
• Finds quality carriers. Verify by using TMW, searching DAT and Truckstop
• Keeps the safety of the drivers, public and freight first and foremost
• Ensures carrier is given complete dispatch information (appointment dates/times, equipment needs, directions, check call requirements
• Promptly identifies carrier performance issues; disciplines, rewards, instructs, councils, and documents them ensuring company policies are followed
• Monitors and updates weekly KPI reports as required
• Works with carrier personnel to ensure carrier satisfaction is met and develop Gold Fleet when mutually beneficial
• Maintains - daily on-time updates, Gold Fleet requirements and customer needs.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience: to perform this job successfully, an individual must have:

• A High School Diploma or a General Education Degree
• Previous experience working and managing staff within the trucking industry preferred.
