Your Mission

• Own the daily dispatch plan: schedule runs, balance capacity, and confirm delivery windows from our distribution center to retail locations and customers.
• Track performance in real time: monitor exceptions, resolve ETA risks, and safeguard product condition in transit.
• Partner broadly: sync with inventory control, warehouse operations, and customer service to ensure orders move without friction.
• Keep documentation spotless: bills of lading, proofs of delivery, shipping docs—accurate and compliant.
• Engineer smarter routes: collaborate with drivers and third-party carriers to reduce miles, time, and cost.
• Problem-solve fast: remove roadblocks, reset schedules, and protect the customer promise.
• Improve the playbook: propose process changes that boost service and efficiency.
• Communicate with carriers: set expectations, align on standards, and follow through.
• Leverage systems: TMS, ERP, and logistics tools to plan, track, and report.
• Report the numbers: on-time rates, carrier scorecards, cost per shipment.
• Champion safety: maintain DOT and company compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Background in customer service, logistics, supply chain, or transportation coordination (orders, transportation, inventory).
• Top-tier organization and time management with a sharp eye for detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication across internal teams and external partners.
• Decisive troubleshooter who keeps deliveries on track.
• Proficient with logistics software, ERP, or TMS; quick to adopt new tools.
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Independent, thrives in a fast-paced setting.
• Customer-focused, delivery-commitment driven.
• Availability to work Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Preferred

• Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years in transportation coordination or logistics operations.
• Hands-on with SAP, Manhattan, or similar systems.
• Knowledge of DOT rules and compliance practices.
• Experience in furniture, retail, or manufacturing distribution.
• Working knowledge of warehouse and inventory principles.
• Lean or Six Sigma exposure.

Location, Schedule, and Environment

• Location: Arcadia, WI
• Schedule: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Remote: On-site
• Environment: Office-based with standard lighting and moderate noise; occasional time on the warehouse or DC floor with variable temperatures and active material-handling equipment.
