A top client in the transportation and logistics industry is seeking a Carrier Relations Specialist to manage third -party carrier recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing support. This role serves as a primary contact for carriers, handling high -volume inbound and outbound calls, resolving issues, and maintaining strong working relationships across the carrier network.

Key Responsibilities<\/span>

Carrier Recruitment & Onboarding<\/span>

  • Recruit and qualify third -party carriers through outbound calls.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Manage full onboarding process, including setup, credentials, and compliance requirements.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Support carriers through early loads and ongoing platform use.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Educate carriers on customer -specific requirements and expectations.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Assist with portal access and system/login support.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    Carrier Support & Relationship Management<\/span>
    <\/span><\/h3>
    • Handle inbound calls, voicemails, and service inquiries from carriers.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Resolve issues related to delays, service concerns, and communication gaps.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Build and maintain strong carrier relationships to support capacity needs.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Monitor carrier performance, ratings, and feedback trends.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Support carrier engagement and recognition initiatives.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

      Compliance & Administration<\/span>
      <\/span><\/h3>
      • Maintain carrier insurance certificates, renewals, and cancellations.<\/span>
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Update carrier records and profile information in internal systems.<\/span>
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Track fuel surcharge data and assist with reporting.<\/span>
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Provide active carrier lists and updates to dispatch teams.<\/span>
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Process compliance -related documentation and correspondence.<\/span>
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Support cross -functional coverage and special projects as needed<\/span>

        Requirements<\/h3>
        • 2+ years of customer service, account support, recruiting, or similar experience.
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Comfortable working in a high -volume phone -based role.
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Proficient with Microsoft Office and general business systems.
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Ability to work independently and within a team.
          <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

          Preferred<\/span>
          <\/span><\/h3>
          • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.<\/span>
            <\/span><\/li>
          • Experience in logistics, transportation, carrier relations, dispatch, or brokerage.<\/span>
            <\/span><\/li>
          • CRM experience (Salesforce or similar).<\/span>
            <\/span><\/li>
          • Exposure to compliance, insurance tracking, or vendor management.<\/span>
            <\/span><\/li>
          • Basic reporting or data handling experience.<\/span>
