Seeking experienced Carrier Sales Representative with a strong background in flatbed, open-deck, and specialized transportation.
This is role combines carrier sales and customer operations; your time will be split between developing carrier capacity, negotiating rates, and sourcing equipment, and managing customer freight from quote through delivery, ensuring exceptional service and proactive communication.

This is a work from home position; the CSR will attend in-house training for a minimum of one month at our Spring, TX, office; will remain an in-office role until management agrees that hybrid role can commence
Key Responsibilities
Carrier Sales
Source, negotiate, and secure capacity for flatbed and specialized freight.
Develop and maintain a strong network of qualified carrier partners.
Negotiate competitive carrier pricing while protecting company margins.
Analyze market conditions, capacity trends, and lane pricing.
Match freight with the appropriate trailer and equipment.
Build long-term carrier relationships through consistent communication and service.
Utilize industry tools to identify capacity and market opportunities.
Customer Operations
Manage customer shipments from quote through final delivery.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication.
Coordinate shipment scheduling, appointments, and transit expectations.
Monitor shipments and quickly resolve service issues or delays.
Provide customers with shipment updates and transportation solutions.
Work closely with internal operations, sales, and carriers to ensure successful execution.
Participate in customer bid opportunities and pricing requests.
Required Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in flatbed, open-deck, or specialized transportation.
Experience sourcing and negotiating with carriers.
Experience managing customer operations from booking through delivery.
Strong understanding of transportation pricing and market conditions.
Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
