Cart Attendant / Customer Loading Associate (Weekend Shift)
Pay: $18.50/hour, paid weekly
Schedule: Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Shift: 12:30 PM 8:30 PM (2nd Shift)
Duration: 2+ Month Assignment
Position Overview
Help create an outstanding shopping experience by keeping carts and shopping tools fully stocked, assisting customers with loading purchases, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized store entrance and loading area. This role requires excellent customer service, frequent walking, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Assistance
- Assist customers with loading and unloading purchases.
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service.
- Resolve customer questions and know when to escalate concerns to management.
Cart & Shopping Tool Management
- Collect and replenish shopping carts and baby strollers throughout the day.
- Keep shopping supplies fully stocked, including:
- Shopping carts
- Baby strollers
- Yellow shopping bags
- Store maps
- Pencils
- Twine
- Ensure all shopping tools are fully stocked before store opening each day.
Store Maintenance
- Keep the loading zone clean by removing cardboard, packing materials, and stray carts.
- Monitor shopping equipment and report damaged carts, equipment, or technology issues.
- Remove any unsafe equipment from customer use.
Customer Service Support: Assist other customer service departments as business needs require, including:
- Full Serve Hand Out (FSHO)
- Returns & Exchanges
- Click & Collect order pickup
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Walk and stand for the majority of the shift.
- Work outdoors approximately 50% of the time.
