CAS Senior Accountant Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain loyal customer relationships to understand their business to support well in CAS role
Provide financial services to clients such as bookkeeping, month-end close, financial reporting and advisory services to meet their financial needs in a timely manner
Provide accounting related client services independently, including accounts payable, accounts receivables, bank and credit card reconciliations, journal entries, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting
Assess information, problem-solve, and exhibit strong communication with clients and team members
Provide excellent client service to support general accounting and software questions and take on more complex accounting work
Perform self-review to ensure a consistent and accurate work product
Collaborate with our team and clients to support needed work
Escalate more complex financial needs to lead advisor and/or CAS Lead, as appropriate
CAS Senior Accountant Qualifications:
3-5+ years of public and/or private accounting experience
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related preferred, or equivalent experience
QuickBooks Online experience preferred; ERP software a plus
Strong working knowledge of accrual accounting and internal controls required
Maintain and expand knowledge base of accounting principles and practices
Must be detail-oriented and adaptable to learn new technology and AI software, as needed
Regular local travel based on client and/or firm needs
40-45+ hours/week average, with heavier hours needed during periods of high volume
