The AmeriCorps VISTA member will assess the local CASA program's volunteer recruitment and community outreach needs and develop sustainable systems to strengthen both areas. The member will identify priority audiences and potential community partners; create recruitment messages, presentations, social media content, brochures, and outreach materials; and develop a database for tracking contacts, partnerships, inquiries, and recruitment results. The VISTA will develop informational session and presentation materials, volunteer fair planning resources, digital outreach strategies, and partner-based recruitment tools and implementation guides for staff and designated program representatives to use. The member will evaluate which strategies are most effective, revise tools based on results, and create reusable procedures, templates, and training resources so the program can continue the work after the service term.
