We bring you tomorrows opportunity today.Volt is immediately hiring Case Assembler in Houston TX 77039As a Case Assembler you willAssemble enclosures using a variety of hand and power tools and fixtures. Follow work instructions and test equipment. Perform a series of operations to meet production schedules and quality standards including modifying parts as necessary for proper fit.Responsibilities Follow detailed assembly instructions processes and procedures. Assemble enclosures and related parts in a timely manner. Able to safely and correctly operate hand and power tools and machinery including forklifts semi-automated material handling equipment and overhead cranes. Participate in training and continuing education. Performs other duties as assigned. Work overtime as required.This is a Full-time Contract opportunity.The ideal candidate will haveRequired Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Relevant work experience with a minimum of one year in electrical andor mechanical assembly in a manufacturing facility. Must be able to work with minimal supervision in a safe and efficient manner. Good mechanical aptitude. Experienced in the proper and safe use of hand and light power tools. Positions requires to lift parts weighing in excess of 50 pounds assistance when needed and to work in a bending standing or squatting positions for long periods of time excess of one hour. Effective communication skills verbal and written English.
