Job Title: Care Management Associate (CMA) OhioRISE
Location: Remote (Ohio Residents Only)
Schedule: Monday Friday | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM EST

Position Summary
The Care Management Associate (CMA) serves as the administrative and operational support partner for the OhioRISE Care Coordination team. This role acts as the primary point of contact ("front desk") for the OhioRISE behavioral health program, assisting children and young adults receiving Medicaid services in Ohio.
The CMA manages inbound inquiries, processes referrals, verifies Medicaid eligibility, completes Health Risk Assessments (HRAs), and provides administrative support to care coordination activities. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound Care Management calls and inquiries.
  • Respond to questions from members, guardians, care coordinators, providers, and community partners.
  • Receive, process, and document OhioRISE referrals.
  • Verify Medicaid eligibility and complete referral processing.
  • Complete Health Risk Assessments (HRAs) for assigned members.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in electronic record systems.
  • Utilize Excel and multiple data systems to support care coordination activities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure timely member support.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
  • Protect confidential member information and maintain HIPAA compliance.
  • Adapt to changing workflows and operational priorities as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in healthcare, customer service, care coordination, call center, or administrative support.
  • Experience handling high-volume inbound calls.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and electronic record systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • High level of professionalism, adaptability, accountability, and attention to detail.
