This is avery clinical, non-retailpharmacist role where youll spend your day directly supporting members who are often dealing with barriers to getting their medications (coverage, prior auth questions, cost, denials, benefit design). Youll make a tangible difference by listening carefully, investigating the situation, coordinating with providers, and guiding members through next stepswith empathy and confidence.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary clinical resource for members navigatingmedication access and benefit coveragequestions.
• Conduct member outreach and inbound/outbound calls: gather clinical and coverage context,set expectations, and drive issues to resolution.
• Collaborate closely withproviders(and other internal partners) to align on clinically appropriate care plans and next steps.
• Participate inweekly rounds, andpresent casesas needed.
• Manage and prioritize a dynamic daily workload (often~10 active casesplusnew referralsthroughout the day).
• Document thoroughly and consistently in the teams tools (youll be trained), including writing clear patient notes and tracking follow-ups.
• Use shared tracking resources (including a shared Excel file) carefully and accurately.

Credentials

• ActiveMA Pharmacist License(required)

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional and recent experience in aclinical, patient/member-facing pharmacist role(not retail)
• Candidates willneed to have used your clinical skillset in the real worldwithin the last 5 years in order to be considered
• Comfort operating in acase-management / access-to-careenvironment: coverage issues, denials, affordability, benefit design, and coordination.
• Strong soft skills for difficult conversations:
  • Active listening
  • Empathy
  • Ability to stay calm with upset members and keep calls structured (cannot skip steps)
• Excellenttime management and prioritization(days change quickly; you can triage without getting rattled).
• Strong documentation habits and baseline computer proficiency (able to write clear notes; tools will be trained).

Preferred Qualifications

• Background aligned withambulatory care,managed care/Medicare, hospital-based clinical coordination, or long-term care with strong provider collaboration.
• Experience working in an environment where you are able to communicate clinical thinking clearly to both clinicians and non-clinicians (ops, billing, etc.).
