Company Overview:

The Staten Island Workforce1 Career Center is partnering with Community Agency for Senior Citizens (CASC) to find qualified candidates for a Case Management Program Director in Staten Island, New York. Community Agency for Senior Citizens (CASC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving older adults on Staten Island through a comprehensive network of support, information, and resource services. Founded in 1974, CASC is committed to helping seniors maintain their independence and quality of life while addressing the growing needs of the Island's aging population. The organization fosters a mission-driven environment focused on leadership, collaboration, and compassionate service to the community.

Position Overview:

The Case Management Program Director oversees the agency's case management program and provides leadership to staff serving adults age 60 and older. This role supervises case managers who work with older adults and, when appropriate, their families to identify service needs, develop care plans, and help clients achieve mutually agreed-upon goals. The Program Director ensures program compliance with NYC Aging standards, supports quality service delivery, and represents the agency in the community. This position also oversees program operations, staff development, reporting, and collaboration across departments.

 

This position is located in Staten Island, New York.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of the case management program in compliance with NYC Aging standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Supervise program staff, including supervisors and support personnel, by providing leadership, guidance, training, and performance oversight.
  • Manage case assignments and monitor caseloads to support timely documentation and reporting through the VIVE data management system.
  • Coordinate staff meetings, trainings, and daily program operations while maintaining quality service delivery.
  • Monitor program budgets in collaboration with the fiscal department.
  • Prepare required statistical and program reports.
  • Represent the agency at community events, committees, and coalitions.
  • Support additional program initiatives as needed.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Social Work or a related master's-level degree. required
  • Minimum of three years of full-time experience in social services or a related field required.
  • At least two years of supervisory experience. required
  • Proven leadership, crisis management, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in the field of aging.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and lead teams.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and represent the agency at community meetings and events.
Pay Range: USD $40.86 - USD $42.30 /Hr.
