Position Summary:

The Case Manager at The Dennis Law Firm plays a crucial role in managing the day-to-day activities of personal injury cases. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. The Case Manager acts as a liaison between clients, attorneys, medical professionals, and insurance companies to ensure the smooth progression of each case.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Case Management: Oversee and manage a high volume of personal injury cases from inception through resolution. Maintain organized and detailed case files, including all correspondence, medical records, and legal documents.

- Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates on case status, answering questions, and addressing concerns. Ensure clients are informed about the progression of their case.

- Document Preparation: Prepare, review, and organize legal documents such as settlement demands. Ensure accuracy and completeness before submission.
- \n
- Medical Coordination: Obtain and review medical records and bills, coordinate medical appointments, and communicate with healthcare providers to gather necessary documentation and support for cases.

- Insurance Communication: Interact with insurance adjusters, provide necessary documentation and letters of representation.
- \n
- Litigation Support: Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, preparing witness lists, and coordinating trial logistics.
- \n
- Administrative Duties: Maintain case management software, schedule appointments, track case deadlines, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.

- Investigation: Conduct initial case investigations, gather evidence, and obtain investigators and/or experts when necessary.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Paralegal certification or equivalent experience in a legal setting is a plus.

- Work Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in case management, preferably in personal injury law.
