Case Manager I - Youth Service Coordinator
Pay: $25.58/hour

As a Youth Service Coordinator (YSC), you'll work directly with young people involved with the Massachusetts Department of Youth Services (DYS), helping them successfully transition back into their families, schools, and communities.
This is a relationship-centered role for someone who believes young people can grow, change, and build positive futures when they have the right support around them. You'll work alongside youth, families, DYS staff, and community partners to develop individualized plans, connect youth with resources, and help them navigate the challenges that come with returning to the community.
Your work will extend beyond an office-you'll meet with youth in their homes, schools, and communities, building trust and providing consistent support where it matters most

What You'll Bring:
Experience in case management, youth services, behavioral health, human services, or a related field.
Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to connect authentically with young people and families.
Ability to engage youth who may be experiencing significant challenges, transitions, or barriers to success.
Strong advocacy, assessment, problem-solving, and service coordination skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with families, DYS, schools, behavioral health providers, and other community partners.
Understanding of trauma-informed care and the importance of culturally responsive, youth-centered services.
Strong organization and documentation skills.
Ability to respond calmly and effectively to challenging situations and provide appropriate crisis support.
Commitment to treating every young person with dignity, respect, and the belief that positive change is possible.
Ability to work independently in the community while remaining connected to a collaborative team.
