    About the Position:

    We prefer that our case managers have experience in a 12-step recovery program (AA, NA, Al-Non, Nar-Anon, Families Anonymous, GA, etc.). We also would like candidates to have worked where clients live, like in a residential program.

    DESCRIPTION: The primary role of the Case Manager is to manage the day-to-day details of client care at Turnbridge and to ensure that each client is exposed to the tools required to reach his/her maximum potential in the areas of independent living and long-term recovery,

    Each client deserves to be treated with dignity and respect in every aspect of daily life at Turnbridge.  This not only includes the direct care providers assigned to him, but moreover from each and every employee with whom he/she has contact. To fulfill this expectation, the specific duties, roles and objectives are more clearly defined in the following:

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Conduct weekly case management sessions with clients.
    • Conduct weekly progress calls to the client’s family and other stakeholders.
    • Weekly case sessions with clinical staff.
    • Schedule and manage client appointments and obligations.
    • Crisis management when applicable.
    • Document case sessions and phone calls as required.
    • Attend required trainings.
    • Monitor client behavior while introducing recovery and independent living principles.
    • Facilitate recovery groups as required.
    • Facilitate client/family meetings to review progress and program expectations.
    • Any other duties as required

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Knowledge of recovery
    • Experience in working with chemical dependency in a residential or outpatient milieu;
    • Experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution skills;
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain a positive collaborative relationship among staff;
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum of three years of experience working in the substance abuse treatment field.
    • Being highly motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team in coordinating client care.

    SCHEDULE

    • Monday-Friday 8:30am-430pm
