Case Work Supervisor III
Location: Cranston, RI (All Correctional Facilities)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately 35 hours per week
Employment Type: W2 Contract Opportunity
Compensation: Up to $60 per hour
About the Opportunity
Epitec is seeking experienced and compassionate Licensed Substance Use Disorder Clinicians to provide behavioral health and substance use treatment services within a correctional healthcare environment in Cranston, Rhode Island. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting individuals in recovery through evidence-based treatment, counseling, and care planning.
The selected clinicians will collaborate with medical, behavioral health, and correctional staff to promote a therapeutic, recovery-focused environment while delivering high-quality substance use disorder treatment services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive Bio-Psycho-Social Assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices
- Provide individual counseling and therapeutic interventions
- Facilitate psychoeducational and treatment-focused group counseling sessions
- Apply ASAM Criteria in assessment, treatment planning, and level-of-care recommendations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Assist with discharge planning and re-entry preparation when appropriate
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation within electronic medical record systems
- Support a safe, recovery-oriented treatment environment
- Work effectively within a multidisciplinary correctional healthcare team
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health, or a related field
- Active Rhode Island license in good standing in one of the following:
- Experience diagnosing and treating substance use disorders
- Working knowledge of ASAM Criteria
- Experience providing both individual and group counseling services
- Strong assessment, treatment planning, and clinical documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in correctional, forensic, residential, or community behavioral health settings
- Experience treating co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Bilingual Spanish-speaking skills
