Salary: $60,000–$75,000 | Downtown Chicago | Hybrid — 3 Days On-Site

Our client, a financially stable, well-established professional services firm, is seeking a Cash Applications Coordinator to join its long-tenured accounting team.

Cash Applications Coordinator - Responsibilities

Apply daily cash receipts to customer accounts accurately and efficiently
Research and resolve unapplied cash, payment discrepancies, and short payments
Reconcile customer accounts and ensure accurate payment application
Process ACH, wire, check, and other forms of customer payments
Communicate with internal teams and clients to resolve payment issues
Assist with accounts receivable reconciliations and month-end close activities

Qualifications

1–4 years of cash application experience required
Experience with high-volume cash application and account reconciliations
Ability to research and resolve payment discrepancies
Bachelor’s degree preferred
