Key Responsibilities of the Cash Application Specialist:

• 
  
• Apply ACH, wire, check, and credit card payments accurately to customer accounts.
• 
  
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, short pays, and unapplied cash.
• 
  
• Reconcile customer accounts and use Excel to identify and correct out-of-balance transactions.
• 
  
• Proactively research customer accounts and follow up for missing remittance information.
• 
  
• Perform daily cash reconciliations and assist with month-end close activities.
• 
  
• Maintain accurate cash application records and identify opportunities to improve processes.
• 
  

Qualifications of the Cash Application Specialist:

• 
  
• High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of cash application, AR, or related experience.
• 
  
• Strong Excel skills required, including VLOOKUP and PivotTables.
• 
  
• ERP experience, particularly JDE, is a plus.
