Cash Clerk Job Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and post daily cash, check, and electronic payments
• Prepare and balance daily cash deposits
• Reconcile cash receipts against dealership documentation
• Research and resolve discrepancies in payment records
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and filing systems
• Communicate with dealership personnel regarding deposit or posting issues
• Follow established internal controls and accounting procedures
• Support the accounting team with additional clerical tasks as needed

Cash Clerk Compensation and Benefits

This position is paid on a pay scale that includes hourly compensation range from $22.50 - $27.00, which varies based on experience, skill set, and performance.
