Nino Salvaggio is currently looking for a Cash Counter Associate for our Troy location.
- Ensure that all cash register tills are counted accurately at the beginning and closing of shifts.
- Perform all cash management procedures including balancing, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
- Research any and all discrepancies to determine the cause and to recommend a resolution.
- Inform management of any and all cash count issues.
- Process customer sales and other transactions using the cash register.
- Receive and process customer payment by cash, check, credit card, debit, gift certificates or EFT and tender change when necessary.
- Greet all customers and provide them prompt and courteous service and/or assistance.
- Maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance at all times and observe company grooming and dress standards.
- Bag and package customer merchandise.
- Follow all established company Alcohol Sales guidelines, and all Federal, Local, County and State Alcohol Sales laws and ordinances.
- Assist in other areas of the Customer Service department and/or other departments as directed by management.
- Attend company training class on Responsible Alcohol Sales.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
- Previous customer service experience, required.
- Previous cash handling experience, required.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to properly use a 10 key adding machine.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for 8 or more hour periods.
- Must be able to regularly bend, lift and/or move 25 pounds.
- Ability to multitask, maintain a positive attitude, problem solve.
