Job Summary
We are seeking a Cashier to join the team at our thriving restaurant. In this role, you will welcome guests, take orders, and inform them of any specials or explain the menu. Your goal is to quickly build rapport with patrons and make them feel welcome. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and committed to providing an exceptional dining experience. We cross-train in all positions in the restaurant.  Assisting the Culinary Team is required when needed. 

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a smile
• Explain the menu and take the guest orders
• Accept payment for meals and operate the cash register
• Let them know where they can receive condiments, napkins, additional seating and when they can expect their order

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cashier, or server is preferred
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and carrying trays
• Familiarity with food safety guidelines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

This position receives tips.  Full time and Part Time hours are available.
