    Job Description

    Summary Statement:

    The Cashier greets guests, answers phone calls and tenders checks in a timely, accurate and efficient manner in a high volume pool/ nightclub atmosphere. Works in an efficient and professional manner while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering superior Guest service at all times.

    Primary Job Duties: Includes but is not limited to:

    • Greet, interact, entertain and serve Guest’s courteously and in a timely manner with an upbeat attitude.
    • Respond to Guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner.
    • Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through your work area throughout shift.
    • Respond to Guest concerns/complaints regarding service or beverages and correct errors or resolve complaints with a positive attitude.
    • Maintain knowledge of all retail offerings and is ability to suggestively sell and attend to guest needs.
    • Responsible for the control of guests checked-in belongings through a ticketing system and proper care and custody of guests’ garments.
    • Handle all payments including room charges, cash, credit card, comps etc. through the POS system.
    • Process Guest payment and checks by cash, credit card, venue comps and all other tender types through POS terminal functions.
    • Responsible to ensure accurate accounting of all bar monies and independent banking procedures.

    Qualifications: Includes but is not limited to:

    • Working knowledge of POS systems (ex: Micros, UrVenue, etc.).
    • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
    • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
    • Polished appearance and demeanor.
    • Excellent customer service skills.

    Preferred:

    • Previous experience working in a day club or nightclub.
    • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.

    Minimum Education and Experience:

    • Must be 21 years of age
    • At least one year of previous cash handling experience in a similar or related field.

    Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:

    • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
    • Position required licenses:
    • Food Handler Card
    • Alcohol Awareness Card
    • Nevada Gaming Registration

    • How is work typically performed? Typical club environment.
    • Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality.
    • Prolonged sitting/standing.
    • Bending and reaching.
    • Transporting, pushing, pulling, lifting and maneuvering items weighing up to 15 lbs.
    • Ability to comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (SDS) and other instructions.
