About the Role:

As a Cashier in the Retail Trade industry, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and positive shopping experience for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately process transactions while providing exceptional customer service. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area, contributing to a welcoming environment. Additionally, you will handle various forms of payment and assist customers with inquiries, ensuring their needs are met efficiently. Ultimately, your performance will directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall success of our retail operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems.
• Experience in a retail environment.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer transactions using a cash register and handle various payment methods.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including performing janitorial duties as needed.
• Assist in stocking shelves and lifting heavy items to ensure the store is well-presented and fully stocked.
• Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the business.
